“When an image causes you to linger or invites you to return for a second look it has become a work of art”
– David Fraser (Oz)
What is Spherical Photography?
All of the images in Scene by Oz are made using what David likes to call “spherical photography”. For each of his projects, or “panos” as he calls them (from panorama), the camera is set on a tripod and angled in different directions, taking (usually) 25 shots of everything around and above and below, covering the entire 360 by 180 degree sphere of its environment. These images are then stitched together using panoramic processing software, from which a variety of image forms can be taken.More about Oz
